Learning to teach starts with “learning to look”: A CITED Seminar in London

Learning to teach starts with “learning to look”: noticing the “sayings, doings, and relatings” of teacher educators’ modelling

In our first CITED in London free seminar of 2020, we welcome Dr David Powell of the University of Huddersfield, UK. David will talk about his own research and literature on practice theory, learning to teach, and modelling to explore how the use of a viewing frame might help trainee teachers “notice” (Mason, 2002) and learn from “the sayings, doings, and relatings” (Kemmis et al., 2014, p.31) of modelled practice.

The seminar is free but through registration through our Eventbrite page which you can access here. Refreshments will be served. Join us!
